Basic Training
 

While group classes can be helpful for teaching basic obedience skills and providing opportunities for socialization, they are not designed to address behavior issues that occur in the home environment. Behaviors such as jumping on guests, barking, counter surfing, biting or mouthing, or difficulty settling are influenced by the dog's daily routines, environment, and interactions with family members. Lasting improvement requires training in the context where these behaviors actually occur, along with coaching for the people involved.
